The quantumcuts.net website and the Quantum Cuts brand are operated by Pragmatismo Lírico, Lda. (a Portuguese sociedade por quotas), tax ID (NIPC) 519359526, registered office at Rua Dom Francisco de Almeida, N.º 5, 1.º Esq., 2720-165 Amadora, Portugal, the controller responsible for personal data collected through this website.

This website currently has no form of its own that sends data to our servers. Contact happens through a button that opens a WhatsApp conversation directly, with a pre-filled message. Anything you share in that conversation (name, phone number, message content) is handled directly by WhatsApp/Meta, under Meta's own privacy policy, and it isn't stored on our servers.

Like any site hosted on Vercel (our hosting platform), standard technical server access logs are collected automatically: IP address, device/browser type, pages visited, and access date/time. These logs exist for security and technical operation of the hosting service, not to identify individual visitors.

This site uses exactly one cookie right now, strictly necessary for a feature you directly requested by using it:

• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers whether you're viewing the site in Portuguese or English, so the language you picked in the menu switcher persists as you navigate between pages. Session cookie (deleted when you close your browser). Not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

This site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies. If that changes (for example, when we enable Google Analytics), the analytics cookie is only set after you accept a cookie notice shown on the site for that purpose, never before. The language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) isn't affected by that choice, since it's strictly necessary and doesn't require consent.

The data collected is used only to:

• Keep the site technically secure and working
• Respond to contact requests you initiate via WhatsApp

Processing of technical access logs is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning correctly. Contact via WhatsApp is based on your consent, given when you voluntarily start that conversation.

We don't sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only third parties involved are the service providers we use to run the site:

• Vercel Inc.: site hosting (may involve transferring technical data outside the European Economic Area, under transfer mechanisms recognized by GDPR)
• WhatsApp/Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.: only for conversations you initiate yourself via the contact button

Technical server access logs are kept for the period defined by Vercel's retention policy, typically a short period (weeks), for security purposes only. WhatsApp conversations are stored on your own device and ours, according to your personal management of that app, and not on a Quantum Cuts server.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data
• Request restriction of processing
• Object to processing
• Lodge a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt
